About the Role
Top Class Actions is looking for an experienced New Business Developer to act as the face of TCA in generating new business from law firms and class action settlement administrators, growing our attorney customer base and developing strong account relationships.
The ideal candidate operates as the first point of contact for potential clients. They will LOVE working independently and are a self starter with exceptional interpersonal skills. They will build TRUST through anticipating the client’s needs, demonstrating understanding of the market and developing close relationships. They will ensure EXCELLENCE in managing every stage of the sales pipeline from first contact, through contract and invoicing to payment, as well as in project execution.
History of successful sales is preferred. Former lawyer or law student with class action industry experience and contacts preferred. Serves as the lead point of contact for new business.
Develops and follows through on leads.
Carries out cold calling / solicitation of business to potential customers who have had no prior contact with the salesperson conducting the call.
Discusses terms of campaigns, documents agreements and finalizes commitments to ensure expectations are clearly defined, service needs are met while maximizing profits.
Base salary covers Account Management time, including: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships with new and/or existing clients through trust, integrity, and understanding each client’s individual needs.
Manages accountability and milestones both internally and with the clients ensuring all commitments are met.
Ensures payments are received in a timely manner.
Ensures proper internal handover and/or the timely and successful delivery of services according to customer needs and objectives.
Prepares reports and clearly communicates progress of new business account status.
Develops new business with existing clients and/or identifies areas of improvement to meet client success quota.
Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify and grow opportunities.
Proactively identifies client needs.
Hosts client calls to present services based on specific client needs.
Travel to conferences or events as needed about 25% of the time.
Location: This role is 100% remote. Candidates must reside in Arizona, California, Louisiana, New York, Nevada, Oregon or Texas. If you have a big book of class action attorneys and you are outside of these states, please apply.
7+ years of experience in sales, account management or legal background
Excellent communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand client needs and present winning proposals
Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
A direct connection with class action attorneys is preferred
